StashAway launches fixed-income Income Investing
It has a 5.51% per annum yield maturity.
StashAway has launched Income Investing, a new fixed-income portfolio powered by J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM).
The Income Investing portfolio offers flexible payout options and allows clients to adjust the payout amount and cadence at any time, according to a press release.
It has a 5.51% p.a. yield to maturity (as of 31 May 2024), with a management fee structure of 0.2% to 0.8%. No lock-ins or minimum investment are required.
JPMAM will provide market insights and asset allocation guidance for the portfolio, which is managed by StashAway.
This takes into account a StashAway survey that found that over half of Singapore residents rely on investment income for financial security. However, investors are limited to choosing between reinvestment and cash payout.
Income Investing challenges this status quo of a one-size-fits-all approach, said StashAway CEO and co-founder Michele Ferrario.
“Singapore investors have been enjoying the benefits of higher interest rates, but with growing anticipation of potential rate cuts, many are now looking to secure attractive longer-term yields. Our Income Investing portfolio presents a timely solution,” said Ferrario.
“We’re once again challenging the status quo with a solution that puts investors in the driver’s seat, allowing them to decide when extra cash flow takes priority and when to let their money compound,” Ferrario added.
Earlier this year, StashAway had also launched StashAway Reserve, a wealth management offering targeting Hong Kong's high net worth individuals.
