Vestas China opens Fujian office

Vestas opened its first regional sales office in Fuzhou city, Fujian province, in the southern region of China. The opening represents another step in Vestas’ strategy of becoming more embedded in the regions where Vestas has business activities, and of serving our customers better and faster.

The opening ceremony held at the new office at Xinhe Plaza unit 1903B, no. 137 Wusi Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City was celebrated by Vestas’ customers and local government representatives, who witnessed this important step for Vestas China in establishing a more regionalized sales setup.

“The main objective of the new office is to proactively engage with customers in order to develop stronger relationships and a deeper mutual understanding,” said Jens Tommerup, President of Vestas China. “We are committed to developing close partnerships with our customers and to working closer with them. So opening an office next door is just one of our many initiatives to reach out to regional customers in this vast country. It makes good sense for Vestas and we are very pleased that we can now provide more timely services to our customers in the southern part of China.”

Initially the office will serve primarily as a sales office but will evolve as the request for services and support from customers increases.
