Tibet's 30MW solar facility begins operations
A 30MW solar plant in Tibet has commenced commercial operations.
Built by Linuo Power, the solar plant is being developed in three phases at an estimated cost of CNY800m or $123.66 million.
Power facilities worth $38.5 million were developed ikn the first phase and integrated into the region's local power grid.
These facilities will produce up to 20.23 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year, which is sufficient to power about 100,000 households.
