CIL subsidiaries to supply coal to seven projects
Coal India Limited has called for supply of coal to power stations for meeting their input requirement.
South Eastern Coalfields Limited will provide the fuel requirements of 300 MW Amarkantak Unit-2's 78,333 tonnes of coal per month, and the 600MW Seepat Unit-1's 76,000 tonnes of coal per month.
The 660MW Mundra Unit-7's 50,000 tonnes will be met by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited.
Durgapur Steel Thermal Power Plant Unit-1 has its per month coal requirement pegged at 52,222 tonnes, which is to be supplied by Eastern Coalfields Limited.
Mahatma Gandhi TPP Unit-1, with a coal requirement of 60,000 tonnes, will be supplied to by Central coalfields Limited while 660MW Tiroda Phase-1Unit 1 has its coal requirement estimated as 60,000 tonnes of coal, which is to be met by SECL.
Lastly, Kothagudam Unit-11 (500 MW), with a coal requirement pegged at 92,000 tonnes per month, will be met by MCL.
