17 new Indian power assets commissioned in Sept
A total of seventeen new Indian power assets were commissioned in September, according to the Central Electricity Authority.
Out of these, a total eight lines of 400 KV each have been commissioned, constituting almost 50 percent of all the transmission lines laid.
The transmission lines laid during the said period were PGCIL's 400kV Bacchchau - Ranchodpura D/C line of 566 ckm, HVPNL's 220kV Fatehabad - Chormar line D/C line of 158 ckm, KPTCL's 220kV LILO of Shimoga - Mysore at Chikk Magalur D/C line of 57 ckm, MSETCL's 220kV Volkswagen - M/s Mahindra S/S D/C line of 3 ckm.
The sub-stations commissioned were PGCIL's 400kV GIS pooling Station near Chamera-II Hydro electric plant sub-station of 630 MVA capacity, MSTCL's 500kV Bhusaval sub-station with a capacity of 500 MVA, and PSTCL's 220kV Algaon with a capacity of 100 MVA.
