Taiwan sets 2017 feed-in tariffs for PV, wind power

PV feed-in tariffs will be raised by 6%.

Taiwan's Bureau of Energy under the Ministry of Economic Affairs unveiled feed-in tariffs for PV power stations, rooftop PV systems, and both onshore and offshore wind turbines.

The bureau is currently processing the release of 200 acres of state-owned land for PV stations to set up projects via an open bid. These areas are located in coastal areas in Southwestern Taiwan.

Feed-in tariffs for PV projects will be raised by 6% for high-efficiency PV modules.
