
Shalong Wind Farm starts commercial operation
China Resources Wind Power Co., Ltd. Phase II Shalong Wind Farm is now supplying electricity to the Guangdong provincial power grid.
The approved on-grid tariff is US$102 per MWh, inclusive of VAT.
The 37.5MW Shalong Wind is made up of 50 X 750 kW generation units, with equipment sourced domestically. The Wind Farm started construction on 18 November 2008 and the first unit commenced commercial operation on 6 April 2009. The construction period is less than seven months, having started commercial operation last 16 June.
CR Power owns 100 percent equity interest in the Shalong Wind Farm. With the commencement of commercial operation of Shalong Wind Farm, the total operational wind power capacity of CR Power reaches 182 MW.
