Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station sets new record of electricity generation

The 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station  continues to exceed expectations and has established a new record of 2,650 million units of electricity generation during the first quarter of year 2011.

The actual generation surpassed the Memorandum of Understanding target for the quarter by 363 MU. Compared with the generation in corresponding quarter of last year, there has been an increase of 226 MU.
