TNB's arm to develop Malaysia's first large scale solar project
The 50MW project will be operational by November 2018.
Malaysia's national utility Tenaga Nasional Berhad's wholly-owned subsidiary, TNB Sepang Solar Sdn Bhd was awarded the project by the Energy Commission to develop Malaysia’ first Large Scale Solar (LSS) project on a 97 ha site in Mukim Tanjung 12, Kuala Langat, Selangor.
Expected to be fully operational by November 2018, the project will generate and transmit 50MW (megawatt) of electricity to the national grid.
