Philippines to finally get its first tidal-energy project

PNOC Renewables Corp and H&WB Asia Pacific will jointly develop it.

The two companies are working to develop the Philippines' first tidal-energy project.

The project wil be utilising Tidal In-stream Energy Conversion technology and will be located in the province of Sorsogon, Northern Samar.

H&WB appointed Sabella SAS of France as the technology provider.
