Sri Lanka's central province to get 2,604 electrification projects

Sri Lanka's Ministry of Power and Energy is planning to start 2,604 electrification projects in the central province next year.

The areas to be covered are Theldeniya, Ududumbara, Pahathadumbara, Galagedara, Yatinuwara, Udunuwara, Kundasale, Gampola, Hewaheta, Nawalapitiya and Harispattuwa in Kandy district.

Several areas of Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts too, will be given new electricity connections during the year.
