Malaysia's Sustainable Energy Development Authority injected with RM325m
After the 1.6% revised surcharge.
According to reports, the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (Seda) be given an hefty sum of RM325mil per year which will be added to its renewable energy (RE) fund.
This is after the announcement of a bigger revised surcharge of 1.6% which will be effective this year. It was previously announced that the surcharge will be 1%.
The renewable energy fund was established to buoy and boost the FIT scheme that was implemented in December 2011.
