Harmony Energy to build third solar farm
The project will produce enough electricity to supply around 20,000 homes.
Harmony Energy has received resource consent for its third solar farm and energy storage project in Carterton, New Zealand.
The project will produce enough electricity to supply around 20,000 homes.
It will also create around 300 full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs during the 18-month construction phase.
This follows the recent approval of two similar Harmony Energy projects in Opunake and Marton. These projects are expected to generate 700 FTE jobs and power around 50,000 homes.
