Jakson Green to develop 250-MW solar-plus-battery project in Uzbekistan

This will be located in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan will be the first to benefit from the $35.34m (INR2.96b) credit facility Jakson Green secured from the First Abu Dhabi Bank to fuel its renewable energy expansion.

“This credit facility marks a significant milestone for its entry into Uzbekistan's renewable energy sector,” the company said. 

The project includes the construction and operation of a 250 megawatt (MW) solar power plant along with a battery energy storage system of 63 MW/126 megawatt-hours in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
