Celebrate your exceptional energy and sustainability initiatives with Asian Power

The awards programmes are accepting nominations until 19 July 2024.

From developing cleaner energy sources to tackling critical waste management issues, Asia's industries are undergoing a period of tremendous innovation.

To celebrate these advancements, Asian Power is once again recognising companies and projects at the forefront of progress through the Asian Power Awards, Asian Water Awards, Asian Oil & Gas Awards, and the inaugural Asian Waste Management Awards.

The 20th Asian Power Awards seeks to shine a light on innovative projects or initiatives in the power sector addressing the effects of the climate crisis and meeting the growing energy demand. A celebration of excellence and sustainability, it provides industry players with networking opportunities and a platform to share their experiences.

The Asian Water Awards, which was first launched last year, celebrates exceptional projects, initiatives, and companies that have contributed significantly to water management, conservation, and sustainability in the region.

The Asian Oil & Gas Awards, now in its fourth year, honours outstanding players in the Asian oil and gas sector who have not only risen above challenges but also thrived by adapting to the new reality.

Lastly, the Asian Waste Management Awards is opening its inaugural year of recognition for remarkable waste management practices across the region. It is set to highlight companies, organisations and initiatives that have demonstrated excellence in addressing waste challenges, promoting sustainability, and driving positive environmental impacts.

Amongst the past winners of Asian Power’s awards programmes is CK Power Public Company Limited - Bangpa-in Cogeneration Power Plant, which took home the Power Utility of the Year - Thailand accolade at the Asian Power Awards 2023 for its drive for net zero by 2050.

“Receiving the award is truly an honour and a recognition of the hard work and dedication that our team has put into the project. The award will surely encourage our team to continue striving for excellence, setting even higher goals in the future and aiming for the lowest carbon footprint possible,” said Woravudh Anuruxwongsri, Managing Director of CK Power Public Company Limited - Bangpa-in Cogeneration Power Plant.
