Vietnam’s wind towers may face US anti-dumping rate

The U.S. Department of Commerce said that Vietnamese utility-scale wind towers has dumping margins of over 50%.

According to the International Trade Administration under DOC, the dumping margins of Vietnamese and Chinese wind towers are determined at 52.67-59.91% and 20.85-72.69% respectively.

In particular, Vietnamese mandatory respondents CS Wind Corporation and CS Wind Tower Co. Ltd. are subject to a dumping margin of 52.67%, while other producers and exporters receive a wider rate of 59.91%.

DOC will make its final determination in December 2012.
