TNB inks renewable energy purchase deal

TNB signed three agreements with three parties for a 21- year supply of renewable energy.

The agreements, under its Small Renewable Energy Power Program, are expected to cost TNB US$ 12.1 million annually.

Tenaga Nasional Berhad's agreements are with Garisan Etika Sdn Bhd for 10 MW, with Maju Intan Biomass Energy Sdn Bhd for 10MW and with Felda Palm Industries Sdn Bhd for 0.5MW.

To date, the total capacity under the renewable energy power purchase agreement is 108.15MW.
