Adani Green Energy forms JV with TOTAL

The portfolio totalling 2.148GW includes Restricted Group 1 & 2 projects.

India’s Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has formed a joint venture with oil and gas giant TOTAL to house 2.148GW solar projects across 11 states, according to a press release.

In this 50-50 partnership, TOTAL’s step-down subsidiary has injected about $487.62m (INR3,707 Cr) into this joint venture.

The portfolio includes the Restricted Group 1 & 2 projects, which had recently raised $862.5m from the international bond markets.
