Michael has over 25 years of career involvement in the power industry in combined cycle plant operations in Malaysia, and since then has progressed through engineering, sales, and management positions in Malaysia and in Europe, most recently in Business Development and Sales for Long Term Service Agreements including O&M Contracts in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to that he also worked in power plant performance monitoring, developing improvements in diagnostics followed by Integrated Power Plant Lifecycle Management to give Owners a greater insight of their assets. He is also an active Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and held various leadership positions.
Currently he is the Sales Director for SEA and GCC at SS&A Power Consultancy AG.

Roland Berger
Dieter Billen is a Partner and heads Roland Berger's energy practice in South-East Asia. He has worked in several countries across the region and originally started at the firm's Brussels office in Belgium.
He consults on infrastructure development, with a focus on energy and utilities and especially renewables and clean fuels. He has advised investors and developers, utilities, and energy players on energy transition projects across South-East Asia and is currently involved in several hydrogen projects along the hydrogen value chain.
Dieter holds a degree in economics from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and the Kiel Institute for World Economics (Germany). He also holds an Executive Degree in Public-Private Partnerships from Harvard University (USA).

Fazal has nearly three decades of experience in a mixture of industries from power utility to petrochemical, banking and automotive.
He has served in a senior management capacity in several organisations and has sat on the Board of international asset companies.
Fazal has led various strategic business initiatives, and developed and implemented several energy projects, both fossil and renewable, across Asia.
He has worked substantially with regulators, policy-makers, investors and financial institutions at different levels and regions.
Fazal holds a MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, BS (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in New York City, and Certificate in Advanced Management Program from INSEAD.

For nearly 20 years, Mark has led large transformation programs that have shaped the energy and utility industry in Europe and ASEAN. He recently led a team that helped Malaysia’s national energy provider embark upon a bold multi-year transformation program aimed at empowering their customers through digital services and smarter energy solutions that better meet their needs now and in the future.
Prior to joining EY, Mark held senior roles in major consultancies and insurance firms. He is a regular contributor to industry publications and speaks at conferences around the future of energy and customers.
Originally from the UK, Mark holds degrees in Business and Marketing and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Wandrille DOUCERAIN is Head of Business Development for Data Centres at ENGIE South East Asia, part of the ENGIE Group, a global reference in low-carbon energy and services.Wandrille oversees all data centre business activities across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with a view to help customers meet their energy needs while implementing their transition towards carbon neutrality.Prior to this appointment, Wandrille was Head of Digital Solutions & Strategic Projects at ENGIE South East Asia. In that role he worked to accelerate the digital transformation of ENGIE and its customers businesses in the region through innovations and new business models which elevated the company’s end to end value proposition for low-carbon energy solutions. He also played a key role in establishing ENGIE as a strategic partner for corporates and cities eager to embark on their sustainable transformations. Wandrille joined ENGIE in 2010, starting in their French offices and later relocating to Asia in early 2019. Since joining he has been involved in many large M&A projects to accelerate ENGIE’s portfolio transition towards low-carbon infrastructure assets. In addition to his considerable work experience, Wandrille holds a bachelor’s degree in business from NEOMA Business School in France.
